Leave of Absence

Leave of Absence lets tracked staff request time away while keeping managers informed and workspace member cards accurate.

Requesting LOA

Tracked staff can submit LOA requests with start and end dates. Requests must be approved by users with the Manage Leave of Absence Requests permission.

Approved, denied, and past LOAs

Approved and denied requests notify the requester and appear in past LOA history. Active LOAs show On LOA badges on member cards and profile pages.

Ending early

The requester or a manager can end an active LOA early. Past LOA history records that it ended early.

Timezone behavior

LOA timing follows the workspace timezone. If no timezone is set, Panora defaults to Eastern Time.
